Nothing is more annoying than being asked questions for Covid- when you have lung cancer. For example,
Hospital Hall Monitors: I have a few questions for you. Have you been out of the country in the past 14 days?
Me: No
HHM: Have you been tested for Covid?
Me: Yes
HHM: Did you test negative?
Me: Yes
HHM: Do you have any trouble breathing or shortness of breath?
(Here is where I get testy. Now, I could say yes, and then have an onslaught of follow up questions and not be allowed into the building- or just lie. After all, had I not lied in the first place, I’d have never been diagnosed.)
Me: No.
HHM: Do you have an appointment today?
Me: Yes.
HHM: Do you know where you’re going?
Me: The cancer center.
……
Now, If I could make up the new Covid questions, they’d be more like this:
Person: What brings you here today?
Me: I have lung cancer.
Person: Go right ahead.
