It’s been weeks since I’ve been diagnosed and that means its been weeks that I’ve made a conscious effort to not do any searches.
Now, typically, BCE, I would search up, “why is my pinky splotched with red marks?” and get a quick reason for my ailment. If I had a booboo I would search up what type of sign a bruise could be, etc. In short: if something appeared out of the ordinary, I had the net as my net.
Not now…. nope, I am afraid to search “what foods to eat when your taste buds are gone,” because it says, “seven signs of cancer….”
Well, this evening while on FB I decided to just type in the unfortunate words: lung cancer, when I came upon a group. Now, I’ll preface this as I was on the phone and simultaneously reading the small excerpt that popped up, and saw, 50 year woman diagnosed with lung cancer….and I couldn’t see the rest of the of the post without clicking on it. So, I hung up the phone, opened the post and saw this (see below). Needless to say, once again, I cannot unsee what I saw- and now am worried about the brain, once again.
