When I am driving on the highway and next to a truck, I am very cautious as to when to pass it. For instance, if I am on the inside of the truck and we are going around a curve, I will hang back at around 50 mph- but if we are both driving straight, i will pass it- but only when I get up the nerve.
Now, hubby, who never drives, becomes a real passenger seat driver when situations like these occur. In fact, when I was driving home after a 6 hour ride, I could not muster up the courage to pass an 18-wheeler.
When hubby said, “just pass them already!” I not only passed the truck, but I passed gas.
