One of my child’s therapists suggested that she play the rainbow game when she is having a panic attack. Some doctors say list five things you see, 4 you smell, etc. and others say to breathe for 4 counts. But this game is simple: go around the room or wherever you are, and find each color of the rainbow (in rainbow order) and do that three times in a row.
Now, I don’t know about you but we were stuck on orange for a good 8 minutes- which means, back to my suggestion of romping through the cemetery.
