I was listening to a calming app a few days ago, sort of a mindfulness app. The woman spoke in what she must have believed was a very calm, soothing, purposeful voice. To me, it was like listening to a newly vocal stroke victim- stringing words together over time. Yet, while she was talking about focusing on breathing, inhaling and exhaling, I was thinking:
Are these audio actors allowed to drink liquids? I think her mouth is dry? Does anyone else hear the clicking of her opening and closing of her lips? I supposed it could be worse, I could be listening to a woman with a Brooklyn accent.
