The other month I had parent/teacher conferences. One of the parents commented on the language their son had come home with. “Poopy, butt, hell, stupid…” to name a few.

I would have explained that when kids come to school from other preschools, or when kids have older siblings/cousins, they often bring the vocabulary they hear. However, the day before when explaining to the kids that I was going to have a baby, the word Vagina surfaced. Poopy and butt didn’t seem so bad now, did it?
